I have a question about designing softwares, PLS come in.

I know there are quite a few similar 3D design softwares right now.
How many kinds of 3D softwars should we learn, such as Inventor , SW, Catia and so on, in order to find a job or get promotion in technical areas?
For professional engineers, how many do you use for work?

Technically, more software you master, more job chances.  Practically, you will not be able to master them all in a short time.  My suggestion is that which software you will learn first depends on your previous experience.  I have metioned that before.  If you want to get promotion from the exisiting position, you have to investigate what software is used or will be used in the company, then decide which one to learn.
