如何用英制绘图

各位：我新来乍到，还请各位多多指教。我因在国内都用公制绘图，到这里多用英制，不知在AUTOCAD里怎么设置来转换？

When starting autocad, select the template acad.dwt. this one is to inch environment, acadiso.dwt is up to iso system.

You may need to establish some different tempales for your own drawings.

Does it mean that I draw a line and input 300 in template acad.dwt and the line length is 300 inch while I
input 300 in acadiso.dwt  and the line length is 300mm? What will happen if I copy a 300mm line from
iacadiso.dwt to template acad.dwt ?

Not exactly.

1, In fact in any environment or tempate of Autocad, there is no conception of unit. you can consider it mm or inch.

2,What will happen if I copy a 300mm line from iacadiso.dwt to template acad.dwt ?
   ---nothing happens. still 300.  means 300 unit.

oh, in fact 300mm isn't equal to 300 inch,so their difference is from the different unit of  paper size
when the drawing is plotted. Is it right?

Yes.

Since model space and paper space, different unit environments were  imported.
