Why the line colors automaticly be changed?
Windows 2000, AutoCAD Mechanical 2006.
I didn't follow Autocad Mechancial layer set up. I built my owen layers.Sometimes, When I moved the blocks, the block line color would be changed automaticaly? why?

when you define the block, if the color of block is bylayer, the block will appear with the color of current layer. if byblock, the block adopts the default color following the original color you set up for the block.
So, if you don't want see any changes of block's color, you'd better do it by byblock.
Try it and you won't miss it.

the block color by layer
It is very strange.
1. It is a assembly drawings, and all the detailing drawings are blocks.
2. The blocks are defined at 0 layer, so the block color will be changed by the layers.(the blocks color is by layer)
3. The problem is sometimes when I move the blocks, the blokcs color will be automaticaly changed.
4. At that moment,even I draw a line, the line color is not the layer color. I mean the layer color show white at the property box, but the line I drawed is green.
