You do necessarily define the size of drawing area.

command:limits

then, specify lower left corner(0.0000,0.0000), usually don't change it.

specidy upper right corner: enter the coordinate value that you prefer.

use "zoom e"

not yet, I think it is related to autocad mechanical layers set up.
