When you plot the layout, you cannot use the option of "Fit to Paper". It is disabled. Therefore, as usual, you cannot change the paper size to fit the layout that already specifies the paper size. However, you can still choose "Window, Limit, or Disp;ay" options to change the scale.
You can also change the scale value when plotting layout. The scale value is the value that control the drawing scale in the specified paper in the layout.

在model space中可以出实体和图形比例为1:1, 2:1, 3:1等等图纸,比如,有一尺寸标注为10mm,出图后在图纸上实际测量尺寸为5mm,即出图比例为1:2.这种情况在paper space中能实现吗?

In AutoCAD 2005, you can follow the following stpes:
1. Right click the layout that you want to print.
2. Select Page Setup Manager in the shortcut menu.
3. Click Modify button in the dialog box.
4. Select the paper size that you want to use in printing.
5. Select Scale in the dialog box.
6. Click OK, and then Close to close the dialog box.

不好意思，还是搞不清：
我知道，在Paper space中图框是可以可以按比例出图的。
搞不清的是，由于图形在Paper space的Model状态下，可以任意拉大和缩小的，那么我们该如何确定图形和图框的比例关系？这个比例关系如果确定不了，那么打印出来的图纸就是随意比例的。

哈，我已经知道怎么弄了！
“可以在图纸空间里建立按图形实际尺寸比例显示的viewport，但注意要锁定此viewport，以防在图纸空间下的MODEL状态对图形进行拉大和缩小而改变显示比例。”
这种情况下出图，图形就可以按确定的比例出现在图纸中！
