马达散热片不画, 只贴图, 行的通吗?

我们的设备里有用到很多马达

如果用贴图取代马达外围散热片的实体部分, 可以节省不少马达占用的资源:)
此构想行得通吗?

How to do that?

Yes, you can.  But it will not look like a real one when you view it in different view angle.  
You can use Decal command to map the fin immage into the motor body.
