my two cents
If you have not ever used any one. go ahead with inventor, a little bit simpler and easier relatively. Once you get familiar with any one, you will find both can be operated easily.
Inventor requires a higher configuration of hardwares than SW. but it features some outstanding functions, such as adaptive, engineering drawings and converting of file formats and so on.
Actually makes no sense for comparing one with another.
Do not waste time as I did before I got determined, Years ago I spent a lot of time and energy in getting clear about which one was better.

我用 inventor , 感觉不错, 就是对系统要求高, 象龙版主所言.2008 版本, 似乎更好一些. 其他方面感觉都很好.
