when printing,how to change plot styl,?

i want to print the drawing.but i found all the lines/text that in red color are too light.(compare to the lines/text which are in white color).
i change the red color';s pen size.but it is not working.
could someone tell me how to change the plot style?
should i change the pen size or line weight?

Activate the ready layout, right-click the tag of this layout below the screen,  select "page setup", in the new window of settings, click "plot device" , pick out the proper printer from "plotter configuration", then select the style from the "plot style table", in this step, I only use "monochrome.ctb" which is in white and black. Behind the "plot style table", a button "edit" can be seen, you may change every thing in here.
By the way, I like the configure the lineweight in the layer property manager, after configuration, don';t need to change it any more.
