How to introduce yourself in two minutes?

Last time the Hr guy asked me to introduce myself in a few minutes, but I spent over 6 minutes doing that. it was too long.

So, how to shrink my story within 2minutes? you konw, I really want to give them a good orientation and the like.

Anybody who are experienced can tall me the clue and instruction about that?

Well, you are right. Nobody wants to give a  poor introduction to the interviewer for the job chance.


Actuall When you talk to somebody who concerns, the interview is supposed to take a certain period to exchange information. Probably 1 hour 2 hours. you have enough time to discuss little by little. so you don't need tell him all what you want at the brief introduction section.


The best thing that you need to do is practice, practise the introduction with yourself or your friends. restrict it in few minutes strictly.


Just tell them who you are, what you can do, how equalified you are  and something.  the rest discussion will spread up, during which you have opportunity to sell yourself.


By the way, 2 minute  too few, you may work it out in three minutes or a little longer. but 6 is too long too tedious to interviewers.


Anyway contacting with employers needs to be done very carefully and deliberately.

I need to practise more as well.:)

有人喜欢用时间顺序来回答这个问题，从现在到过去，一直到大学。这样的话，就太长了，也没有必要算流水帐。 你只要针对他们的工作描述回答好你是做什么的，你喜欢做什么，你的资历等就可以了。这样在时间比较宽松，又能提纲挈领告诉他你的情况。

一般都是5分钟左右吧，两分钟实在是捉弄人。
