the desired vendor daemon is down Tell me more about that. Had it run successfully since you installed Pro/E? First you can check the server status by the following steps:
1. Start>Programs>PTC>PTC LIcense Server>PTC LIcense Server Tools
2. Click Server Stats tab.
3. Click Perform Status Enquiry.
It will tell the status. Either the license file is missing or some other problems.
If the license file is missing, click the Config Services tab, and find the license file by clicking Browse button. Then, click Start/Stop/Reread tab. Click ReRead License File button. Then, click Start Server.
If it still does not work. It may be complicated. Without seeing the actual problem, I could not give you further instruction
